How do I go about getting my birth certificate translated?

• Birth certificates can be provided as electronic copies – either as a scanned copy or digital photo and delivered by email.
• Following receipt of the scanned copy, we translate the birth certificate and provide an electronic copy back to you for approval.
• After we receive your approval, we mail the certified, signed and stamped translation to you in the post.

Does my birth certificate need to be translated by a NAATI accredited translator?

Birth certificate translations in Australia need to be completed by a translator that has been accredited at Professional Level by NAATI. All of our translators working on birth certificates and other migration related documents have accreditation at professional level by NAATI. Birth certificates translations which have not been translated by a Professional Level NAATI accredited translator will not be accepted by Government departments. The translated birth certificate must be certified, stamped, signed and dated by the translator.
