Australian Multilingual Key Personnel

Jacasta founded Australian Multilinguals’ head office in Sydney in 2004 and plays a key role in the development of the company, as well as managing key industry client projects.

Jacasta holds a Joint Honours Degree in Anthropology and South East Asian Studies from London University’s prestigious School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS).

Before establishing Australian Multilingual, Jacasta enjoyed a vibrant career in the British Advertising Industry. This involved regular business visits to Paris, to the Cannes Lions Advertising and Film Festivals, to India, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong.

Jacasta was born in Australia and has lived and worked in France and England for many years; she possesses a sophisticated expertise for building productive business partnerships across cultural and language boundaries.

Simon joined Australian Multilinguals’ Sydney office in 2005 as General Manager. Simon is active in the day to day running of the company, including project management of enterprise clients and has over 16 years of experience working in the translation industry.

Simon graduated from London’s South Bank University with an Honours degree in Political and Economic science.

With the advent of the dot com era, Simon participated in the creation of several technical start-up companies before joining the US content and technology company Screaming Media (Dow Jones), to assist with establishing their London office. Simon provided business development from initial inception phase through to their public listing on the NASDAQ and purchase by financial information provider, Stockpoint.

Simon is also father to two young children and a passionate surfer and musician, with a keen interest in international politics.

At the core of Australian Multilingual is a team of professional project managers, translators and interpreters, cultural consultants, voice artists, multilingual typesetters, and audio-visual production crew, both in Australia and worldwide.
