Transcription

Transcription involves a translator listening to an audio or video recording in order to produce an accurate written version of the recording in the same language. Once a transcript is created, it is then possible to create a translation for that transcript, into any required language.

We provide transcription with NAATI certification, for instances where the translation will have a legal application, and offer a wide panel of specialist translators for transcription of materials relating to specific fields of business.

Script translation

Script translation is usually conducted with the intention of converting an audiovisual item to a new language, either with re-narration or with subtitles. A skilled approach to translation is therefore essential, as the translated script must adhere to the time code of the source material, in order to create a seamless conversion for the new language.

Translation of text also often results in a greater volume of words than the original version. Our translators work skilfully to recreate the essence of the source material, maintaining its true meaning and producing a natural and engaging narrative, whilst simultaneously ensuring that the original timecode is respected.
