Whether you require multilingual voice recording for a corporate video, television or radio commercial, educational video or presentation, Australian Multilingual has the Arabic voice over artists to match your desired tone of voice, accent and gender.

Australian Multilinguals’ Arabic Translation Service includes an extensive panel of professionally trained Arabic voice artists, both male and female and with a range of accents and dialects.

Sample Arabic voice over demos are available by contacting us on 1300 308 983 or via email at [email protected]. You will need to specify whether you require a male or female voice, an approximate age category for the voice over artist and the required region of the target audience.

Considerations:

Demographic – Arabic voice over artist

Our Arabic translators work with Modern Standard Arabic for written text and also for most translation assignments as this is the lingua franca for the Arabic-speaking region, that all educated Arabs from middle and upper social demographics will understand.
For voice over recording we can provide specific dialects of Arabic where required. Broadly, these dialects fall under the following categories:

  • North African Arabic (Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and Libya)
    Hassaniya Arabic (Mauritania)
    Egyptian Arabic
Levantine Arabic (Lebanon, Syria, Jordan and Palestine)
    Iraqi Arabic
Gulf Arabic (Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, the U.A.E. and Oman)
    Hejazi Arabic (Western Saudi Arabia)
    Najdi Arabic (Central Saudi Arabia)
Yemeni Arabic (Yemen & southwestern Saudi Arabia)

Spoken Arabic dialects may differ to Modern Standard Arabic in the following ways:

  • Simpler grammatical structure
  • Pronunciation may differ for some letters, as can be the case between different spoken Arabic dialects
  • Each dialect has words and expressions that are particular to that dialect
  • Spoken Arabic is never used for written text, unless the text is by a humourist, conversation is being quoted, or a populist voice is desired
  • Spoken Arabic has a more casual vocabulary and style than written Arabic. Certain words and expressions only exist for the spoken dialect and do not exist in written form.

What is the desired tone of the recording? Do you require a male or female Arabic voice over artist?

It is important to consider the required tone of the recording, for example do you require a formal business voice, a young upbeat voice, a calming voice? Will you require a female of male voice?

Script Translation

The script must be translated in advance of the recording session. This not only allows the Arabic voice over artist to rehearse in advance of the recording session but also allows for a professional translation process. Australian Multilingual provides professional translation into Arabic. The script translation process is the most important stage in providing a professional Arabic voice over. You can have the most talented voice over artist recording in a top flight studio, however, if the script has been poorly translated, the former becomes irrelevant. A translated script should not only convey the intended narrative style but it should also avoid literal translation. In other words a translated script should not read as a translation but as a script originally created in the target language.

Australian Multilinguals has established a strong reputation for delivering Arabic translation service in Australia. Our primary Arabic translator have been working with us for over a decade and is held in high regard within the industry. Our clients include the Office of the Prime Minister, Sir Richard Branson, AusPost, General Motors, Aecom etc., to name but a few.

Arabic Voice Recording and Captioning Services

We offer a comprehensive in-house production service for Arabic voice over recording, with final delivery of high resolution, professionally recorded digital audio files. In order to finalise the localisation of your video to Arabic speaking target audiences, we can also embed the voice recording and any backing music to your video.

You may also require subtitling and captioning services; we are pleased to also offer this service in house.
We have worked on a diverse range of projects including corporate videos, television advertising, radio advertising, and mobile and E-learning applications. Sample Arabic voice demos are available by contacting us on 1300 308 983 or via email at [email protected]. Please specify whether you require a male or female, and an approximate age category for the Arabic voice over artist.

Proofreading of script

We also provide proofreading services. If you have already translated your script, we recommend that we provide a proofreading of the translation prior to commencing the voice over. This is a very cost effective process which ensures that the end product conveys the intended meaning and is free of translation errors.

Syncing the Arabic voice over recording to your existing English language video

If you have already produced an English version of the video, it is essential that you provide time coding (start and finish times for each sentence) within the script. The voice over artist will then ensure that the Arabic recording does not extend beyond the time code boundaries.

You are welcome to contact us on 1300 308 983 or via email at [email protected] to discuss your requirements.
